The session examines exosomes, a rapidly growing area of regenerative medicine with more than 5,000 publications annually. Topics will include exosome origin, biogenesis, function, and characterization, as well as their applications in regenerative dentistry and medicine. The presentation will highlight their use alongside PRF therapy in periodontology, implant dentistry, and facial esthetics.
Recent advances in platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy have extended membrane resorption time from 2-3 weeks to 4-6 months. This presentation will review clinical indications and case studies demonstrating how these autologous membranes can replace collagen membranes. It will also explore the use of BioFiller, a natural facial filler, as an alternative to chemical fillers such as Restylane and Juvéderm.
Speaker: Richard Miron, BMSC, MSc, PhD, DDS
